jen and paul
There's no lack of snow in Northern Michigan right now, but it was looking sketchy just before Christmas for Jen and Paul's Marquette Michigan wedding. I don't think they noticed though. They were far too concerned looking at each other. And kissing... It's hard to miss the snow when you're kissing all the time. This was a beautiful little wedding with prep at the nostalgic 103-year old Union Station Train Depot and reception at the Marquette Regional History Center. I love working these two locations - the Depot in particular. Wow. More on this soon. Icing on the cake (literally) was Joe from Joe's Cakes out of the Huron Mountain Bakery. Holy delicious. The final highlight (on top of cakes, a custom flask and box both with my name on it, and grandma who said, "I hate people who do your job, but I like you...") was running the siren as I rode in the cab of a fire truck. My job sucks.
