I am the wife of a funeral director in Marquette, MI and I immediately recognized the embalming room in your gallery and my mouth dropped open. I was a bit shocked. I consider myself very open minded and liberal, especially when it comes to art. I’m even a little more shocked that the photo may have been in a localy brewery. That is a very sacred room and should be treated as such.

First off – the description of your sign sounds amazing, and similar to what we want to do with our brewery (distressed, metal, cut-through, etc).

You should contact Rick Loduha at Finlandia University… He and the product design department could come up with some sweet ideas and solutions. And if you use the students it could be inexpensive labor costs!

Well even though they are banned from facebook one of the images is now the desktop on the breakroom computer at Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee, WI.

As a long time hairdresser who domy clients hair on their passing..I am NOT offended by your work. It’s just part of life……..Some of my clients are closer than family and my first visit was eye-opening! BUT, I’ve always said that it is the last thing I can do for that woamn in MY life and power.

I understand the pressures of walking the line and not offending a client or potential clients or what “polite society” considers acceptable or appropriate. However, I hope that it doesn’t affect the creative spirit you guys have for pushing the envelope a bit here and there and making your work that much more exciting. I’d love to see all the original shots. This one says so much…it’s awesome! Keep saying exactly what you feel through your art…don’t let anybody stop you! In truth and in fact you have nothing to appologize for. JMO

We absolutely love the pictures! You were by far our best find of the wedding and can’t thank the entire staff enough for all the memories you have saved for us.
